Garlic Bread 🌱 🥖
Ingredients:
Bread - 340g (I recommend Baguette or Ciabatta)
3Tbsp Vegan butter
4 Garlic cloves
1 1/2 Tbsp Freshly chopped parsley
1/4 Tsp garlic powder (optional)
Tools:
1 Tablespoon
1 Teaspoon
1 butter knife
1 Large baking tray
1 Knife, grater or garlic mincer
1 small bowl
1 chopping board
Method:
- Start off by pealing mincing your garlic cloves place them to the side once completed.
- Then chop your fresh parsley and place it to the side.
- Next take half of your minced garlic and place it in a bowl.
- Now add 2Tbsp of the vegan butter to the same bowl, and mix it really fast with a spoon for roughly 1 minute or until the butter has softened and mixed well with the garlic.
- Once you’ve completed that step, add the rest of the butter & garlic to the bowl and continue mixing until the butter mixture is smooth.
- Now add the chopped parsley along with the optional garlic powder and mix until it has fully incorporated.
- Set your garlic butter to the side and take your loaf of bread and slice it into roughly 11 slices. Don’t slice the bread all the way, leave roughly 1/3cm intact.
- Using a butter knife spread the garlic butter equally in between each slice.
- Place your garlic bread into the oven on a medium high heat for roughly 12 minutes or until your desired preference.
- Finally, leave your garlic bread to cool down for roughly 5 minutes before chopping and serving.
