Garlic Bread

Garlic Bread 🌱 🥖 

 

Ingredients:

Bread - 340g (I recommend Baguette or Ciabatta)

3Tbsp Vegan butter

4 Garlic cloves

1 1/2 Tbsp Freshly chopped parsley

1/4 Tsp garlic powder (optional)

 

Tools:

1 Tablespoon

1 Teaspoon

1 butter knife

1 Large baking tray 

1 Knife, grater or garlic mincer

1 small bowl

1 chopping board

 

Method:

  1. Start off by pealing mincing your garlic cloves place them to the side once completed.
  2. Then chop your fresh parsley and place it to the side. 
  3. Next take half of your minced garlic and place it in a bowl. 
  4. Now add 2Tbsp of the vegan butter to the same bowl, and mix it really fast with a spoon for roughly 1 minute or until the butter has softened and mixed well with the garlic. 
  5. Once you’ve completed that step, add the rest of the butter & garlic to the bowl and continue mixing until the butter mixture is smooth. 
  6. Now add the chopped parsley along with the optional garlic powder and mix until it has fully incorporated.
  7. Set your garlic butter to the side and take your loaf of bread and slice it into roughly 11 slices. Don’t slice the bread all the way, leave roughly 1/3cm intact. 
  8. Using a butter knife spread the garlic butter equally in between each slice. 
  9. Place your garlic bread into the oven on a medium high heat for roughly 12 minutes or until your desired preference. 
  10. Finally, leave your garlic bread to cool down for roughly 5 minutes before chopping and serving.
